Main Street Forge products are designed and manufactured to last a lifetime. All Main Street Forge products are guaranteed to the original owner to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product. Any original, unaltered and unmodified product which fails under normal use will be refunded, replaced or repaired at our discretion. Damage caused by modification, improper care or negligence will not be covered.

 Main Street Forge leather products are made from high quality top grain bullhide, cowhide and / or water buffalo leather which is sourced from US tanneries.

Main Street Forge products may use American made and / or imported hardware.  We make every effort to use US made hardware on as many of our products as possible and are always working with our domestic suppliers to add more American made options to our lineup.

Most in-stock orders ship within one business day from our warehouse in Brighton Michigan.

Most in-stock orders ship via USPS or UPS. We may from time to time use a third party shipping company such as Amazon logistics.  You will receive an email when your order ships which will include the shipping provider along with the tracking number.

We do offer international shipping from our Brighton, MI, USA warehouse. Shipping cost varies by location and is calculated at checkout. 


There are a couple ways to figure out your belt size.  All of our belts have 7 holes spaced one inch apart so being off an inch or two is ok. Use one of the following methods to determine your size:

Option 1 (Less accurate): Take your pants waist size and add two inches. So if your waist size is 36 you should order a size 38 belt.

We put a dab of glue on the Chicago screws while crafting your Main Street Forge belt.  This helps to make sure the original buckle stays put and doesn’t come loose accidentally.  Unfortunately, this can make removal of the screws a bit difficult. In order to remove the screws, you have to be able to break the adhesive seal on the screw.  It can be difficult, but if you use a screwdriver on the one side and you grab the other (smooth) side of the screw with a pair of needle nose pliers you can get enough torque.  Once the seal is broken, it will unscrew very easily.  The trick is to get a good grip on the screw with the pliers without damaging the leather, you have to be careful. Please contact us directly if you aren’t able to remove the screws and we will help however we can.

Main Street Forge belts have 7 holes each spaced 1 inch apart.

You can figure the total length of a Main Street Forge belt by taking the belt size and adding 7 inches.  So a size 32 belt has a total length of 39 inches (32 + 7)

Returns + Exchanges

We offer 100% free returns and exchanges. We pay shipping both ways.  All we need from you is your order number and zip code.  Click Here to get started.

If you purchased on Amazon please click here to set up a return or exchange.

Once your item has been received in our warehouse your refund will be processed.  Depending on your bank or credit card company it may take 2-10 business days to show up in your account.

Exchanges are processed once the returned item is in transit to our warehouse.  In some instances it may process sooner.  We ship out every weekday, so your item should ship the same day your return is shipped back to us. 

If the item you requested as an exchange goes out of stock before the exchange is processed your exchange will automatically be changed to a return for a full refund.

Yes!  Your exchange will have been given a new order number. Make sure to use this order number for your second exchange.   Example: EX-MSF12345-1

No. Our system will not recognize returns that were not set up in our system. Please reach out to us for a free return label.
